• Royal Decree No 114/2001 Issuing the environment protection and pollution combatting law.
• Ministerial Decision No. (48/2017) Issuing Regulations for Organizing the Issuance of Environmental Permit
• Compliance with the technical specifications for licensing as approved by the Ministry

    Documents required

    • Title deed or a ease contract and the krooki of the site
    • A copy of the approval of Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) where a project  will be   established   in the case the project establish within industrial areas managed by Industrial Estates. 
    •  Approval of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, indicating the annual production capacity for industrial projects.
    • Approval of the Public Authority for Mining indicate the coordinates of the site for mining projects
    • An open ended banking guarantee for mining projects as the following:
      -(30000) Thirty thousand Omani Rials for mining and extraction of gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, chrome, laterite, etc. 
      -(7000) Seven thousand Omani Rials for crushers and quarries.
      -(5000) Five thousand Omani Rials for automatic screens, prospecting and exploration of gold, silver, platinum, iron, copper, chrome, laterite, etc.

    4- Site visit if needed
    5- Evaluate project Site visit report
    6- Receiving the permit
